Alaskan Wet Dog Race – Kodiak Island Checkpoints

I traveled with the five trial run participants of the Alaskan Wet Dog Race, a proposed 2,000-mile race on personal watercraft (Jet-Skis, Sea-Doos and the like) in Alaska waters. Part of their legs included visits to Kodiak Island villages and the city of Kodiak. I was with them for three days, spending most of my time on board the Homer-based Memory Maker, the support boat.
